1. Hello, I recently bought a Wadia di322 DAC and it sounds fantastic, but i have some problems. It is connected direct with a USB Audioquest cable to my vortexbox based streamer (AudioAanZee ) AudioAanZee Ultra Flow Music Server | HFA - The Independent Source for Audio Equipment Reviews When i start a new song there seems to be a kind of fade-in, so i miss the first second of a song. This is not always the case but occurs regular ? The second problem i have is that when i start a 24/96 track, i hear the song distorted. When i stop the song and start it again it plays right ? Before this DAC i've had a PS Audio NuWave DAC with the same configuration and played without troubles ? I hope someone have can help me with this, thanks in advance greets, Arjan
2. Greetings all, I'm in the process of upgrading my Sonore to Vortexbox 2.3 and have discovered there's no driver support for my much loved Lynx AES16 sound card. I had been using the AES/EBU output/input to my McIntosh MX151 (which has on board DAC) and would prefer to stay with this approach I'd also prefer to stay with Vortexbox or OpenElec / Kodi as the interface. Welcome your opinion as to the best bang for buck audio card, which is directly comparable or superior to the Lynx AES16. Stello U3 for eg.? Others ? Thanks in advance to all / Jim
3. Hi everyone! I have this setup: Vortexbox (Flac files) > Ethernet > Logitech Squeezebox Touch > Digital Coaxial > Audiolab M-DAC > NAD C350 amplifier. Is my Vortexbox or Logitech Squeezebox Touch clocking my files? Or are both? Any idea how I can check? I'm going to be trying Asynchronous USB from the Logitech Squeezebox Touch to my Audiolab M-DAC but it could be pointless if my Vortexbox has already clocked the Flac file. If this is the case, then would I have to do this: Vortexbox (Flac files) > USB > A new streamer with 2 x USB in/out > USB > Audiolab M-DAC OR Could I leave the ethernet from the Vortexbox? Vortexbox (Flac files) > ethernet > Logitech Squeezebox Touch > USB > Audiolab M-DAC Thanks in advance for your input!
4. Posted this under the comments to the BeagleBone Black Music Player article as well. I consistantly get error(13) permission denied when I attempt to mount music files from my VortexBox. /etc/fstab file modification: // /mnt/music cifs guest,_netdev 0 0 Attempts to mount using the command: mount -a result in the above error code. I need help to figure out how to mount the VortexBox files. Thanks to all in advance!
