Designated Packer #80 posted a topic in DSP, Room Correction, and Multi Channel AudioIm almost positive that I'd have to go with the Creative Lab: SoundBlaster ZxR to hook up the 7.1 system (I also want it to have the highest quality surround sound features as well... I'm just starting out myy degree in Audio/Music Video Editing but I am making enough from my dad's Premium Cigar shop overtime hours that he gives me and I am spending nothing so that I can afford to get this equipment. I need the best audio/visiual editing software as well. (I don't need wireless speakers, but I do need the best subwoofer their is.) I want to have this Professional grade studio done by the time I'm out of college because I want to get to work on doing Awsome audio/visiual editing... I won't turn out mp3 garbage. But right now I have things covered perfectly on the visiual side of things. Anyways I just started my Degree so I really don't know what all to buy. I know a high end 7.1 Channel surround sound system, I already know that SoundBlaster is by far the easyiest to edit with, But I don't know what cables or anything else.
I want to record the birthday of my little sister by creating a home video. I have a windows, and used to apply Windows Movie Maker to make and edit videos. Now I wish to add more special effects to my video, such as transition, also I want to add texts and adjust the color tone. Are there any programs help to satisfy my demands? Either mp4 editing software or other video files supported software are appreciated. Thanks in advance. Ruby
