Dear Simuadio users, here is a post that has been hidden in the "General Forum" section so far. It's about the app "MOON MiND Controller" by Simaudio for controlling the streamer/renderer MOON MiND 180. A device that's already a few years old, but still very good. BigBadger describes it exactly in his initial posting: The app crashes permanently after a few seconds. The music continues, but the contact via WiFi between Smartphone/Tablet and MOON breaks off. Obviously many people have this problem. Therefore the question here whether someone has a solution. Simaudio obviously doesn't have one. In happy phases the app runs absolutely trouble-free, but unfortunately this is very, very, very rare. So there should be a solution.😤 The problem is explicitly not the connection to the server (Synology 213j via LAN cable and POWER-LAN), but actually the connection between smartphone and MOON device. Who had the problem himself and found a solution: Let's get it over with. Thank you! Stefan

How do you do, I am looking for a solution for my dad's audio system: 1) Tablet app (iOS or Android) with *large fonts and easy interface* to browse albums on remote PC via WiFi 2) PC software that will work with the app. Ideally should be able to play DSD files. 3) Lower priority: The software should auto load/unload music if a USB storage is plugged in. The PC will output via USB into a Marantz SA8005 (D2A) (-> NAD M3 -> MA PL200). I'll likely get an Intel NUC PC or something similar. 4) I will welcome suggestions on the PC as well: Low power, small, fanless, SSD, reliable. Thank you!

Hello all, Reading these forums I've become more and more focused on achieving a short simple (and cheap!) path from source to speaker. I'm sure I'm not the only one who has taken the route described below, and since I'm struggling I was hoping that someone who has gone the same way might be able to help: > I rip to FLAC using Db poweramp on my PC, or download a similar quality source. >> I sync files to my Samsung S4 mini (I have a 64GB min SD card) >>> I want to stream them to my Xeo 3s - which accept a digital stream via mini USB or SPDIF input. However the S4 mini doesn't appear to support USB OTG/isn't able to directly stream the files. Do you know of any app or device that will encode and stream my FLAC files from the phone mini USB to mini USB/SPDIF of the Xeo 3 transmitter so that the signal stays digital and lossless all the way to the Dynaudio speaker DACs please? I've read the primers, but can't get to grips with the language - guess I've reached my techonolgical limits - so simple solutions preferred, if possible! Any help would be greatly appreciated...

Is it really possible that there is no alternative iTunes Remote in the App Store? The Apple own solution feels a little outdated in comparison to the the JRemote. Did I miss something?

Can anyone explain this to me? :-) I've got my music stored on a NAS and I'm using the BlueSound app to control my BlueSound Node - this works perfect. It loads the library with all the information - cover art, artist, track titles, etc. I am though considering upgrading to an Auralic Aries streamer to improve the sound quality, so I tried downloading the Lightning DS app, but when I choose my NAS it doesn't index all the music properly. Most of the music is just marked "unknown" and isn't organised at all - see the pictures. Does anyone know how to solve this?
