I am going to invest in a 2.1 sound system that I will plug into my desktop. I have decided on the JBL LSR305s as the monitors but I have a choice of 2 subwoofers to choose from: Wharfedale Diamond SW150 (http://www.wharfedale.co.uk/product.php?pid=65) Roth Audio OLI KH30 8 inch Active Sub Woofer (http://www.rothaudio.co.uk/docs2/products/OLi_KH30.shtml) The Wharfedale sub has a 10 inch driver compared to the Roth Audio 8 inch. It also has a slightly lower frequency response of 35Hz to 40Hz. The Roth Audio has 200W of power compared to 150W of the Wharfedale. The Roth Audio sub is also smaller so therefore more practical as I will have to move it and it will be in a small room. Could anyone help me decide which one to go for? They are an identical price. Thanks

Hi, I need help deciding what speakers to buy for my pc. I game, listen to ALOT of music and watch movies occasionally. This is what i'm proposing so far, my budget is 700 but would prefer to keep it in the 500 range: Audioengine P4 Premium speaker set, along with a AudioSource AMP-100 Stereo Power Amplifier and Formula F-12 12" 475 Watt Front-firing Powered Subwoofer. Would that be a good system? Or should go for the audioengine a5+s and lose the amp? Thanks any advice is appreciated. P.S. I have a decent audio card as well.

Hello, I'm thinking it's time for an upgrade. I need your help though. I'm going to use the setup with my computer, but also with a PS4/TV combo. I'm not looking for top of the line audio, as I don't have infinite funds to spend on the system, but I want it to be a noticeable upgrade from my Logitech 2.1 computer speakers. These are what I have picked out right now: KRK RP8G2 Amazon.com: KRK RP8G2 Rokit G2 8In Powered Studio Monitor, Single Monitor: Musical Instruments Onkyo TX-SR313 Amazon.com: Onkyo TX-SR313 5.1-Channel Home Theater A/V Receiver(Black): Electronics BIC America F12 Amazon.com: BIC America F12 12-Inch 475-Watt Front Firing Powered Subwoofer: Electronics The realm of receivers is unknown to me, and I don't know if the 65w output would be adequate for the monitors, but I know it needs to have HDMI so I can connect it to my television and PS4. About the KRK's I've read that they are only good if you are 5 feet from them, which would be a problem if I wanted to sit back and relax on the couch while playing PS4. But they are 150 bucks now because of the new model that're out now. Now, the sub I found in some other forum saying it was the best bang for your buck, and I listen to mostly EDM, and punk rock, plus I'm a sucker for bass. I want to stay around this price range but I was also considering some AudioEngine A4 passive bookshelf speakers. I'm not sure if the active KRK's would be a mess trying to hook up to the receiver. The room I'll be listening in is very small as is my budget. And I want a very dynamic setup to handle both the bass of the EDM but all the mids and highs of vocals. But I'll take any suggestions you are willing to give. I hope you guys can I help me. I have a lot of respect for the forum members here and I will be eternally grateful. Thank you.
