SOtM smS-200 unveiled at Munich Hi-End

Hi Tuning, If the Kernel checking is kept going on, it means somthing is not completed, how long it's going on? over 30mins? The better way what you can do is reburning Eunhasu to the micro sd card or to the new micro sd card again...can you try it?? Thank you~ Best regards, May

Okay Tuning, now you will need to ask what DOP marker Yamaha is using, there are 0x05 / 0xFA markers and dcs marker. Please check it and let me know. Thank you. Best regards, May

The DOP requires the max software volume. To do this, you can set the replay gain to none and mixer type to none or null. Pleaset try it with the setting let me know the result. Thank you. Best regards, May
  8. Just got this message, thank you Johnseys for your understanding. Best regards, May
  9. Sorry for the situaion being happend, but there seems extra explanation required for better understanding each other and it is not blaming to anyone, please don't argue about it. The test was done successffully, and we took video and pictures to make sure evertying works perfectly, and shared with Johnsesy, and indeed it worked perfectly fine but while assembling the board to the case, this connector got damaged, https://www.digikey.com/product-detail/en/hirose-electric-co-ltd/U.FL-R-SMT-1(01)/H122041-ND/3978494 so the connection can't be made flawlessly, and it is the reason the board would be back to us for the replacement. Thank you. Best regards, May

    sMS-200 NEO

The Neo would have the different power board, so the sound also will be changed. From some moments, all sMS-200 would be released to be Neo version. I will confirm the details once NEO would be ready, it's still under testing at our end. Thank you~ Best regards, May

    SOtM sCLK-OCX10

Hi auricgoldfinger, IMHO, I think this result was made more related with the combination of the rest of your system which means it is not only a matter of dCBL-BNC. After adopting sCLK-OCX10 in your system, I believe the sound gets very much detailed and dedicated, so in this situation, more fine tunning is required according to this new system. So I would like to add some comments like replacing the power cable used for sCLK-OCX10 to get more fair comparison and better result in your system, for example, if you use the sPS-500 for the power supply, try to use the different or better AC power cable or DC power cable. And better to check the polarity of the power supply, and the position of the power strips. In addition, if you are able to replace and test with other cables like USB cable, power cable and etc, you will get closer to find fine tunning solution in your system. But I do not recommend using ferrite cores in the system, but if you are willing to do it, try it with the power cables. Thank you~ Best regards, May
