Which USB A to B cable

  2. Listening to a few of my test tracks at the moment. I'm quite happy with the way it improves the clarity/definition when compared to the direct MacBook Pro to TEAC USB connection.
  3. I can't use the home/internet network because it's connected to the whole campus.
  4. I've added the router and it's now working perfectly! Thanks. Since I only use this network for wired audio connections can I use only a router, or is it better to use both router and switch?
  5. Thanks. This network will only serve the NAS, laptop and NUC so I thought it would make sense to keep it as simple as possible and reduce the amount of SMPSs. I'll try adding the router this evening, and will take home a keyboard to log into the cubox.
  6. Would it help if I were to use a router instead of a switch?
  7. Unfortunately I am on a Mac. I will login tomorrow with a keyboard.
  8. It's alive!!! I even saw the penguins on the TV and the light on the switch is on. The DAC acknowledged the NAA but HQP Desktop can't find it... I've tried both fixed IP and DHCP. Unfortunately I took the keyboard back to the office this morning but I will bring it home tomorrow. The TV is displaying: Network Audio Adapter 3.5.4 2.4.3 naa tty1 naa login: _ And this is the network info for fixed IP: mybooklive.local ( at 0:90:a9:38:3d:bd on en0 [ethernet] ? Album of the Evening

  10. The specs say "Power adapter specification: DC Jack 5.5mm 5V, Max 2A current". I tried with several PSUs including an Audiophonics 5V/2A L-PSU and it didn't work. My only hope is the cable.
  11. Many cably reviews on Amazon complain that most cables can't deliver 1A, and this one I'm using came with one of my kids' toys... I've ordered one that apparently does up to 3A.
  12. I've tried other PSUs with no luck. The optical out is lit but nothing else seems to work with your image, Debian or Armbian... All that's left is the cable so I'm getting a new one.
  13. Thanks to both. I think I must have fried my Cubox because the ethernet connection doesn't light up on the switch and the TV HDMI input gives a no signal indication. It's back to the Raspberry for the time being...
  14. @Miska, which of these images should I download for use with Cubox/Debian, is it the latest armhf.deb? https://www.signalyst.eu/bins/naa/linux/stretch/
