  1. If everything started working for you after couple of hrs with no changes on your end for both A+ and Qobuz desktop app it was most likely communication between your system and Qobuz infrastructure. I am glad to hear that everything is back up and running.
  2. It's possible that Qobuz is in the process of spinning up stuff for US deployment which might be the reason that we are seeing the inconsistent results for the couple of days.

I am hoping @Miska will comment on the problem but I have always installed rygel after the first time when it did not work.

Another option for folks to use for personal use is MobaXterm, which you can use to start a SSH session but on the left side it also gives you the option of uploading/downloading files.

Hopefully David Craff will help you resolve the issue.

@oneway23, you mentioned that you always have Roon Core running at the same time as Qobuz. Does Roon Core have exclusive control of the DAC when it is running? I am wondering if the two apps are fighting each other for the same resource and since Roon is most likely starting before Qobuz, Qobuz loses that fight majority of the time. It might be worth it to stop Roon core and starting Qobuz after the core is stopped and see if that helps.

I am glad the guide is coming in handy for folks. Keep sending in feedback if you find something is not clear or would like to see some improvements. Here are somethings that I want to add to the guide, feel free to add your wish on things that you would like to see in the guide and I will keep track off it. Usage of BubbleUPnP (Android) and mConnect (iOS) to send Tidal/Qobuz to HQPe. I will add Qobuz information once Qobuz is officially release in US. I do not have access to Tidal so I can only show the screen shot for entering Tidal account information. Add information on how to get CUDA working under Ubuntu (this one is going to take awhile to document. I have been spending time listening instead of tweaking :D)

Those are normal error messages especially if you had previous version installed and can be safely ignored. I normally stop the service, remove the old package before I install the new one and you are still likely to get those messages

But the controls are built in to the API, which they already use for their desktop application.

Deezer is deaf. I have asked them multiple time for status update on opening up their api's over the last 6 months and so far all I have gotten is we have escalated to developers. I am not exactly sure what the hold up is. They have already exposed majority of the api for low res streaming but they are holding off on the api's that will allow hi-fi streaming.

I have not researched this at all or tried it myself so I could be completely wrong about this, but have you thought about using the USB DAC and WiFi on on the RPi 3? As Miska has mentioned the ethernet and USB share resources but I believe the WiFi is completely set of bus. Personally, if I was in your shoes I would just get another low powered Intel NUC type of device and install Linux if your system supports it or Windows if Linux support is not available.

Document updated to include options for updating the embedded package once a newer version is released. I also added commands to update the OS packages if someone wants to update in the future. I run the command once a month to make sure that I have the latest packages installed, especially security updates. HQPlayer Embedded Install Guide v.0.7a.pdf

@Miska and @Em2016, your feedback has been incorporated. Please review and let me know if I missed anything. I would like to include the CUDA configuration under Ubuntu but I have not tested the configuration to see if I have all the steps correct. The guide will be updated once I have completedly tested the configuration by following the steps :). Miska, the libgmpris package versions for Bionic and Stretch are different version. I am not sure if that makes a difference in the grand scheme but something to report. HQPlayer Embedded Install Guide v.0.7.pdf
