Popular Post austinpop
https://open.qobuz.com/album/0747313238026 This may well be my new favorite Creation! Incredible recording quality, and a performance to match. Of the three soloists, Sunhae Im (soprano) may be the weakest link, but even so, this is an outstanding performance. Background: I just got access to Qobuz, and I've been like a kid in a candy store ever since. I've been focussing on high-resolution content, and this one came up in one of my searches. Qobuz has it at 24/44.1, although I gather it was also released as an SACD, so may be available as DSD too. rando, Jud and AnotherSpin 2 1 My Audio Setup Link to comment

I have not seen it available as a DSD download (although I have ripped the SACD). It is certainly one of the better modern performances. Hugo9000
George Frideric Handel Semele Rosemary Joshua Christian Curnyn/Early Opera Company On the whole, I think I prefer the version headlined by Kathleen Battle, but Rosemary Joshua sings the role quite winningly, and the recording overall is wonderful. I'm happy that I now have two beautiful versions of this gorgeous "secular oratorio" by the incomparable Handel. 请教别人一次是5分钟的傻子,从不请教别人是一辈子的傻子 Link to comment
