One of my professors took it upon herself to do that the first day of Anatomy and Physiology by declaring that she would be using this class to weed out the people that would not be able to make it too or through Med School. The next class, half of the people in it were gone. I didn't think it was that hard, Human Bio and all the Chemistry were much more difficult. No electron left behind. Link to comment

A&P is usually a course of nursing students, PTs etc. and the Nursing Pgm uses it for us to weed out their students Likewise, Organic Chemistry is used by us to weed out pre-Meds Get the trend? Your prof. was unusually candid. I've done it when the class was too large & unwieldy.... Then of course there are the famed old stories of surgical residents being weeded out on day 1 when they met a crusty old Chief and held their hand out shake hands... the Chief turned it over and emptied out his pipe ashes in it...
