wgscott
Thanks for posting this. We just got a Roku and I downloaded the app. I haven't had a chance to take it for a spin yet. Anyone know what the sound quality is like (is it compressed, I assume 5.1 or similar)? Link to comment

I've subscribed to the Digital Concert Hall for several years now and watch concerts on AppleTV (usually - my TV also has the app). Sound quality is great, and it's amazing seeing so many world class artists in "live" (recorded) performances Jud and wgscott 1 1 John Walker - IT Executive Headphone - SonicTransporter i9 running Roon Server > Netgear Orbi > Blue Jeans Cable Ethernet > mRendu Roon endpoint > Topping D90 > Topping A90d > Dan Clark Expanse / HiFiMan H6SE v2 / HiFiman Arya Stealth Home Theater / Music -SonicTransporter i9 running Roon Server > Netgear Orbi > Blue Jeans Cable HDMI > Denon X3700h > Anthem Amp for front channels > Revel F208-based 5.2.4 Atmos speaker system Link to comment

Bob Stern
Roku tip: Do not subscribe to any service from the Roku website. I've read that Roku makes it hard to terminate a subscription. Instead, subscribe on each service's own website, then enter your password when you first launch that service's "app" on Roku. wgscott
Thanks for the tip. I activated the Roku with a fake paypall account (you can just feed it a bogus email address during setup). Link to comment
