rpi/kali/piano2.1 power supply 3/2,5A?

1) I understand in this bundle all power gets through the Kali, there is no way to feed the RPi alone.

2) Is the recommened 5V 3A enough for stable performance?

3) The IPower delivers 2,5A IS that (also)  enough?

I am having the same question. It came up in a few places, but I have not seen a satisfying answer.

Alternatively to the Pi 3 B+, would it help to use the Pi 3 B or the Sparky?

1) By default RPI gets power through KALI. To feed power to RPI alone : need to bypass the reverse diode by soldering.

2) Yes

3) 2.5A enough for powering RPI+KALI+DAC .  3A specified for considering all type of interfaces connected on RPI - like HDMI , USB Interfaces, Wi-Fi etc.
