foobar Bewitched ,bothered & bewildered ! Help solve software mayhem

In order to stream Tidal to my ASIO & USBonly DAC I have been using the following
software :

Bubble UPnP server helper
Linn Kazoo
Foobar 2000 (with the following components installed; foo_out_asio & foo_upnp)

From time to time I also use Minim server to play ripped files.

Bubble UPnP server loads automatically as a Windows service at startup.

 

Last night I played a cd, in an attached USB DVD drive utilising Foobar's "open an audio
CD" menu option.

 

Linn Kazoo & Minim server were not operational (dormant).

 

Imagine my suprise when an old Tidal playlist popped up "out of nowhere" and insisted on
playing.

Looking for some pointers in troubleshooting.

 

Apologies to Rodgers & Hart btw. But I couldn't think of an eye catching topic title & that's what I was listening to when I started typing
