Use the SoTM 200 Ultra Neo the way it should be used?

I just got my SoTM 200 Ultra Neo and was wondering how to set it up the best way. I have a TIDAL HiFi subscription and a 4TB external USB3.0 hard drive with mostly lossless and hi-res FLAC / SACD stuff.

At this moment I have LMS started and use BubbleUPNP to control the LMS which is also my DLNA renderer but to my ears it sounds worse than my PC with JRiver / Fidelizer / Jitterbug and Supra USB cable. I really have no clue why, to me it lacks any kind of punch and it's extremely bass heavy.

 

I'm using a LKS DA004 with the Amanero Upgrade USB module.
