Can you give me some impressions? Difference is about 1000 eur on Holo's side. Any other DAC to think about it? Link to comment

Too forward with the LS50 speakers I used to have. I used it with a modified SU-1 and listened mostly to redbook, which is probably not the thing to do with NOS dacs. Say NO to ROON Link to comment

mav52 Posted September 25, 2018 Share Posted September 25, 2018 Own the Holo LV 3 and the Brooklynn + and the Ayre Codex PS the Holo I own sounds pretty good NOS mode. The Brooklyn+, to darn clinical for me, I own one. I say find you a used Ayre Codex, own it, plays way above its price point. And the headphone amp ain't half bad either.
