miguelito
Looking for a portable bluetooth speaker that supports Apple's AAC bluetooth codec. A few asks: 1- Support for AAC 2- Must have the option to be battery powered 3- If it supports wifi/Airplay, even better but not a must I purchased a Libratone Zipp Mini but will return it as I am underwhelmed. The Homepod doesn't cut it because it is not battery powered and it is a bit too large - if they came out with a smaller battery powered version that would be perfect. It is incredibly hard to figure out what speakers (if any!) support the AAC codec. Any advice is welcomed. Thx! mansr
How about the B&W T7? http://www.bowers-wilkins.com/Wireless-Speakers/Wireless-Speakers/T7-Wireless I haven't heard one, but I'd expect anything from B&W to at least half decent. Link to comment

Look at Sony bluetooth speakers. A lot of them do AAC. https://www.sony.com/electronics/wireless-speakers-docks/t/wireless-speakers Link to comment

I just got a Zipp Mini and the sound is alright, but BT is only SBC/aptX (no AAC - I should have checked), and the Airplay sound is not great for some reason (very different from the sound over BT). Will check the Sony ones. Thx. Moosbrugger
Any current thoughts on a Bluetooth travel speaker with good sound. The internet reviews are all over the place. A Hudson Valley Home: Kichels -- A Recipe from the Old Country Link to comment
