Worth noting that Audirvana (the Mac version, anyway) offers the ability to disable some macOS functions that are deemed potentially disruptive to audio: Not aware if something similar is available in the Windows version, if that's your interest. the_doc735 1 John Walker - IT Executive Headphone - SonicTransporter i9 running Roon Server > Netgear Orbi > Blue Jeans Cable Ethernet > mRendu Roon endpoint > Topping D90 > Topping A90d > Dan Clark Expanse / HiFiMan H6SE v2 / HiFiman Arya Stealth Home Theater / Music -SonicTransporter i9 running Roon Server > Netgear Orbi > Blue Jeans Cable HDMI > Denon X3700h > Anthem Amp for front channels > Revel F208-based 5.2.4 Atmos speaker system Link to comment

Whitigir
I can’t even find Izotope filter features for Audirvana on windows. However, I do love Audirvana much more than Jriver or Foobar. Have not tried HQPlayer yet, because the interfaces is too complicated. Link to comment

The interface isn't that complicated, i.e. it is not really difficult to set up. Rather, the interface is very basic and not user friendly for music playback. However, using an app such as HQPDcontrol app on an Android tablet addresses this issue and makes playback straight forward. It allows you the option of selecting from a list of artists, from albums displayed by album cover, or by genre. HQPlayer can also be controlled by Roon if you are prepared to pay for a subscription. the_doc735 1 "Relax, it's only hi-fi.
