HQPlayer and WS 2016 core

I recently installed WS 2016, along with AO 2.20 and Roon.  Works great, but when in installed the latest HQPlayer it won’t start.  I already installed wasapi when I installed Roon.  I have both Roon and HQPlayer as the shell, but I also tried to launch HQPlayer from the installation directory.  I get an error saying that the application could not start correctly.  I also installed qwave.dll into the system32 directory.  

 

Anyone else have these issues when trying to run HQPlayer?

Screw it.  I think I’ll just buy an Innuos Zenith and call it a day.  Tired of jumping through hoops trying to get good sound.
