Looking for Al Kooper/Mike Bloomfield - Super Sessions

Looking for Al Kooper/Mike Bloomfield - Super Sessions in DSD or a real FLAC off the master or close. I have the CD, which I ripped, and I own the record, but have looked everywhere and can't find a better copy. Not looking for any illegal or pirated stuff.

 

I have found that the CD and some other files I have tried sound off compared to the record, which sounds great. Just want to get a good rip for my digital collection.

I think your only option is to get the Audio Fidelity SACD and either rip it yourself or find someone to rip it for you.

I have the SACD.....just no way to rip atm. That will be my last option.

Tidal has it, if that interests you at all. Might be a different mastering than yours. I'm listening to it and it sounds pretty good to me.

I'm sure there are people here who would rip the SACD for you if you ask.

also IIRC, there exist MFSL and Japan release CDs

There are a bunch of reissues of this one. I’ll check mine when I’m home this evening.  Discogs is, of course, always a valuable source.  And check the loudness wars site for DR info.

Got a hold of the audio fidelity version from a friend. sounds good to me. Seemingly not volume compressed. Not in print, but maybe you can find it.
