This place has been getting a little emptied out for the Summer. So I'd like to ask if anyone wants to make suggestions toward an unexpected source of enjoyment that popped up this week.

In the course of researching recordings a fair few heavily SEO links to Amazon and other large retailers pop up. A chance visit to ebay revealed they decided my inactive account needed to be more productive. So they issued a US $5 gift certificate with no minimum purchase. I'm not that easy of query, but it got me thinking a day or so later. Wonder what lies in the bargain bin of item + shipping under $5? Turns out a lot I'm unfamiliar with. At first I rushed to just find something. Then it hit me I have an entire month to waste a few minutes here and there trying to unearth a real unappreciated jewel.

I'd love to hear what strikes anyone else as containing a high quality performance or sound quality.
