audiophile65
I happily grew up in the 1980's, and I know and love so much of the music from that decade. I'd like some recommendations on good (or decent) sounding CDs (to rip) and any high resolution downloads of albums and/or compilations of 80's music. I'll even entertain any albums on DVD-As or Blu-ray As. Pop, Rock, New Wave, Hard Rock, Metal....if it's 80s, please let me know as I continue to build my digital library. Thanks for your help. AudioDoctor
mp3 quality with TIDAL is 9.99 / month. CD quality, and higher, with TIDAL is 19.99 / month. All in US dollars. Roon is not a streaming service, it is playback software. It is 199 a year, or 499 for a lifetime subscription. No electron left behind. Link to comment

Do you have to have a receiver or integrated amp for it? I do see myself purchasing the 2014 Mac Mini in August, as well as (most likely) the Marantz HD-DAC 1 (headphone listening only through AudioQuest Nighthawk). My digital library (lots of PCM and DSD) most likely will be through JRiver Media Center. I will be purchasing more PCM and DSD downloads along the way as well. Link to comment
AudioDoctor
TIDAL You can use a computer or a streamer that can connect to TIDAL. No electron left behind. Link to comment
