Cloned file permissions problem

i have a file permission problem with a cloned N10. My friend has done the initial install and cloned his N100 to my N10.  I can play the music he put on my N10 but cant add to the folders. i am using my own password and can create folders outside of the folders already created. I am running windows 10 and created a share but I cant add files or change folder permissions.

There are a lot of posts about similar problems in the Windows Forums etc. about files being made READ ONLY etc.

This happened to me after I cloned my OS HDD to an OS SSD.

Among other things, I couldn't even do anything more with my music files in SoundForge 9 than look at them only.

After about 12 months of this damn annoying behaviour, and trying numerous posted solutions by Microsoft,. I eventually discovered a setting in SF9 to enable them again.

Have you tried making yourself Admin ?

Yes I am logged in as an administrator. I wish I could ssh to the aurender and maybe then I would be able to work with the OS, I am assuming LINUX. I probably would still need root access. I am going to find a way to get around this. I want to keep my file structure. Thanks

Follow up of problem. Aurender fixed it through their online access. Glad I did not have anything to hide  Great support
