Foreigner

Any fans of Foreigner? Just wondered if any of you have any of their MoFi hybrid SACDs or have listened to them on hi-res Roon, Tidal, etc.? I'm curious about their MoFi SACDs.

Any comments would be greatly appreciated...

Big fan of Foreigner here. 

I have the "Foreigner" and "4"  MoFi SACDs extracted to ISO files

 

Unfortunately Roon does not support SACD ISO file playback. 

I (and many others) have tried asking for support on the Roon forum but they were clueless.

The only way to playback these files in Roon  is to convert them to FLAC.

 

TIDAL has some these albums as MQA files (not MoFi) which I have not bothered to listen to.

I did listen to the 16/44.1 versions and they were good.  I prefer these over the other versions.

I have just '4' MoFi SACD. It sounds good. There is also a Japanese Warner SACD with 2 extra tracks, never heard it though.

Thanks for your responses. Sounds like they will have very good sound.

I did get brand new MoFi SACDs of their debut album, "Head Games", and "4" -- all ready to be ISO'ed. "Double Vision" MoFi SACD I can get off eBay new, but will be about $80 to $90.
