Woah!!! $250 ... awesome at first power up with my AKG k712 pro's.

 

Perhaps the very best deal in pre-built that I've heard.

it certainly is a good deal.  They can be had slightly used for $25-$40 less right now on head-fi.  

 

I've read glowing praise about it, but the only thing keeping me from buying one is the number of them going second hand on head-fi.  Makes you think twice, you know?

 

I'd like to remain optimistic and think that those folks just didnt get a good synergy in their chain.  And the reason there is so many of them is because it's a massed produced and pretty inexpensive unit.  Lot's of folks buying it with little risk.

 

You know what?  I think I may have just rationalized a purchase.  Thanks Jabbr
