jrobbins50
@AudioPhil, I am wondering if a remote viewing / control software such as VNC will work running in minimal server mode. I’d like to be able to do maintenance work from time to time headless on the server. As I am running Roon on a 2012R2 server with AO, network related services are still enabled per your Roon installation instructions. Assuming the answer is yes, must I go back to GUI mode to download and install VNC or can that be done in minimal server mode via a CMD prompt? Thanks for your help. Cheers. JCR Link to comment

jrobbins50
I had some other maintenance to do, so I installed VNC server in GUI mode and then went back into minimal server mode. Works like a charm. JCR AudioPhil 1 Link to comment
