MichaT
Hello, I have been using usbridge for almost a year with my Auralic Polaris (usb-dac) and Squeezelite. I control my system with iPeng. Dietpi v6.6 was installed in the headless version. After the update to 6.8, there was an issue. Usbridge has no sound output. I reinstalled Dietpi with allo gui (version 6.6). Sound was back. After an update to 6.8 again no sound output. Does anyone know this behavior? What could be the reason? Thank you Link to comment
bassivus
I'm also having trouble after update from 6.7 to 6.8. But haven't had time to deal with it... Link to comment
PunkRiot
Open the Alsa Mixer and set both volume bars to 100%. Link to comment

PunkRiot
Glad to hear. Some users are reporting you have to reapet this step after each reboot, however I have not seen this behaviour oin my system so far. Permanent fix should be ready in version 6.9. Link to comment
MichaT
Yeah, me too. After each reboot I have to make the Alsa settings again. I look forward to v6.9.? Link to comment

chauphuong
Hi folks, is there anyway to disable software volume in Dietpi Gmrender? I use BubbleUpnp as the control point and see that Volume Control slider of BubbleUpnp still works. Link to comment
Baldiman
Can anyone help me with a tutorial on how to set the alsa mixer to 100. I have no audio after the last update. Link to comment

This fixed the problem permanently. Link to comment
Baldiman
I was hoping for a better explanation than that. I have never used Putty before, and i am getting tired of this shitty network bridge that fails every other software update. Link to comment
Baldiman
This is how far i got. And still no sound. Link to comment

And replace "on" with "100%" , no quotation marks of course. Then press control + x to save an exit. Reboot and it should be at 100% every reboot now. Link to comment
Baldiman
And how do i replace the text? As i said, i am new to Putty. Link to comment

Baldiman
The problem is that the Sparky turns down the internal volume on my Project s-box digital when i connect it. I connected the dac to my htpc, and had to turn up the volume via the project control panel sw. When i connect the dac back to Sparky, it wont show up in roon, and i have to reboot. When it comes back on, the volume is turned off again. I am using my htpc until the next update, and hope you will fix this issue. Link to comment

lorello
My DAC has a volume knob. There's another DAC from same manufacturer without it, with a similar name. Did you try again? For me the issue has been solved with the support given in the previous post. Link to comment
