JRiver v24 use with MicroRendu

Is there any way to get JRiver to work with the MicroRendu other than Shairport?

yes -- set up jriver as a dlna server and then use the microrendu in dlna mode.  the only thing to watch in the setup is to make sure no transcoding occurs -- make sure jriver is sending the audio in the original format.

+1, I use JRiver and the microRendu in this way, a pretty bulletproof set-up.

 

Even supports native DSD with some DACs, and DoP with the rest.
