JAZZ ALBUMS

Album of the evening is a great thread, but it seems to be about 80% classical...I like a lot of classical, but I lean toward JAZZ more, so I thought it should have a dedicated thread.

 

Anyway, I have discovered a LOT of new JAZZ that i never knew after acquiring a 1000 CD collection.

 

I will start with this one.

I found this album recently while searching for some late-night, smokey, cocktail lounge music. Nicely done standards from Slyde Hyde & Pete Christlieb.

Just listened to this- Steve Coleman, Morphogenesis.  Good, but he has albums I prefer. I love his album Functional Arrhythmias.
