cambridgehank
I have over the months created series of iTunes folders and subfolders. For example, I have a folder called "iTunes Essentials" . I have subfolders in that folder, "Jazz", "R&B", "Classical", and "Year top songs". My iPhone 8 Plus sees the top level folder "iTunes Essentials", but not the sub folders. If I select it, all the songs in the sub folders are played. I never see the sub folders? I also play music from the iPhone in the car using Apple CarPlay. Same thing happens. Is this normal. Do I remove sub folders? Thanks Link to comment
someToast
That’s odd. I’ll have sub-folders two and three levels deep in iTunes and I can still see/play the individual playlists they contain from the Music app on the phone. Link to comment
cambridgehank
Thanks. Another person suggested resyncing the phone and Mac. I am currently trying that. I deleted all the old files and selected all music in iTunes. I should know in a couple of hours. Link to comment
