Advieira
I wanto to add a new item in my chain (sms200ultra>Vega). My options: A) - A used TXusbultra with master clock input with a cooper Y cable to use in my Sps500. US$ 920 B) - ISO-Regen new with a LPS-1. US$695 C) I could not order the lps1 and use my hdplex 200w to power isoregen. I would save US$ 350. questions: 1 - does Tx is much better than isoregen? 2 - could hdplex give the same quality to isoregen like the LPs1? Money is not a issue to decision here. Link to comment
mozes
If money is not an issue then why are you quoting the prices and savings? Go for the tX without hesitation. Link to comment

Goint to TX, I feel I am paying two times for the same clock board (SCLK-EX)... so, its not a matter of price, but pay more for something would not improve audio enough for the money. Link to comment

The sCLK-EX is not the same clock board in the ISO Regen. If you really want to leverage the value of the sCLK-EX, you would incorporate all four of it's clocking points to separate devices that would benefit from better clocking. The HDPlex is not a high end power supply. Maybe with some added DIY, you could get it to be comparable. I find the ISO Regen a detriment to my SQ after incorporating the sCLK-EX into my server. Your findings may differ? (JRiver) Jetway barebones NUC (mod 3 sCLK-EX, Cybershaft OP 14) (PH SR7) => mini pcie adapter to PCIe 1X => tXUSBexp PCIe card (mod sCLK-EX) (PH SR7) => (USPCB) Chord DAVE => Omega Super 8XRS/REL t5i (All powered thru Topaz Isolation Transformer) Link to comment
