Santana's Greatest Hits in 24/192

Is there anyone who knows more about the provenance of Santana's Greatest Hits?

 

As it seems, it is now available exclusively at HDtracks.com in 24/192 to an excessive price, at least in Europe.

 

The albums with the originals of the included tracks are available in 24/176 or 24/96. I cannot see any information on the HDtracks homepage about the source. Is there a new remaster, what are the original digital masters and their resolution for the contained tracks?

HDtracks says 2014.

 

If it came out recently (and 2014 is just an error), it could be related to the vinyl reissue by Sony in January this year:

It seems as it has been released last Friday when it first appears at HDtracks.com and Qobuz.com. Unfortunately it has been removed from the Qobuz catalog during the weekend and is only available at HDtracks now.

 

It looks like it has the same source as the recently reissued vinyl but to be sure I must download, analyze the file and compare the DR numbers first.

 

On the other hand, I'm not willing to pay a excessive price and support this partial music distribution strategy from Sony Music to support only one specific, maybe needy, HiRes download portal. So I'll be patient and wait until this album is available to a reasonable price in other stores.
