Ralf11
I lack the space on the external drive to put all of the iTunes folder there (for off-site storage). Is there a way to easily back up everything after a certain date? Oddly, EVERY album sub-dir in iTunes has the same date for Date Added - 14 Aug. 2017 (!!) Link to comment
GregWormald
I can't think of a way with all the "date added" being the same (major system updates or a recovery process can cause that). Storage is cheap--buy a bigger hard drive? If you can sort by rating then back up your favourites. Link to comment
Ralf11
I think that was when I experienced a major system downgrade by installing High Sierra - which broke my Finder search They are all my favs, no ratings used. I have a larger HDD and it is my onsite backup - 2 Tbytes left until it goes to a safe space off site, which is what I plan to do with the other HDD I was able to pick folders modified after the the last backup on the older backup HDD and copy them over manually - not much fun tho...
