Article: Pono is Officially Dead

My first iRiver player was Toblerone shaped, and sounded great! Better than anything else available at the time, especially the shitty iPods.

We (JRiver) were one of the creditors and they ended up offering to settle.  We accepted.  I believe they did the same with the other creditors.

 

I'm sorry to see Pono go.  They gave it a great effort and had a lot going, but in the end, the financial realities caught up with them, as it has with many services before them.

I overlooked this thread. Interesting content there. Proud to see your association with Pono, HDtracks and Acoustics Sound.

 

Glad I picked JRiver as my media player. I feel assured of many more years of continued usage. Good job JimH.
