exfat with audioquest jitterbug

My Macbook could read my WD hard drive with jitterbug in the USB port.

Since reconfiguring the hard drive to exfat ,Macbook does not see hard drive.

I tried another Jitterbug without luck.

Removing Jitterbug solves the problem.

Does anyone know whether Audioquest Jitterbug is incompatible with exfat configured hard drive?
