Which ROON Streamer

So...after many iterations of C.A.P.S.; then an excellent, but pricey Aurender. I have been living, quite happily...with an Auralic Aries Mini (AAM), feeding my Brooklyn...for some time now.

 

I'm setting up an Office system (Eastern Electric MiniMax IA > Omega Super 3i), and am thinking about moving my AAM there...as the source. That leaves me, with a decision to make...in the Main room.

 

I have a friend's old C.A.P.S., that I have been thinking of re-purposing; and it turns out my NAS/file-serving software (unRAID)...will host ROON's Core.

 

So...do I re-use that C.A.P.S., or save myself heartache and trouble; and just get the ~$500 sMS-200??
