DSP on Digital Transport?

I'm currently running Audirvana using Sonarworks system wide output to apply DRC.  Are there software music players that will play transported digital signal (e.g., from a CD transport?). I fiddled around with Audirvana and didn't see an option.

Check out a hardware solution: DEQ2496 by Behringer. Takes a digital input up to 96KHz/24bit, Toslink and AES/EBU inputs/outputs, all digital DSP, no PC required. Used ones can be found for not much more than $100.
