Wyred 4 Sound DAC-2v2SE, Sonore microRendu and DSD256 native

Has anyone tested a W4S DAC-2v2SE with either the Sonore microRendu or ultraRendu at DSD256 native with the new Sonicorbiter 2.5 software?

 

I do not mean the 10th anniversary version of the DAC.  Wyred 4 Sound says that the 10th anniversary does work at DSD256 with the microRendu but I upgraded my DAC-2 DSDse to a DAC-2v2SE early this year and I really do not want to spend even more money on the DAC.

 

Sonore indicates that it should work on one of their threads but I want to hear from someone who actually owns both and has tried it.

My non-anniversary  W4S DAC-2v2SE is long gone but it was incapable of native DSD with my microRendu that had the 2,5 software..

never mind - I reread your post and missed the 2.5 reference - I guess I need more coffee.

John - could you tell me which DAC replaced the non-anniversary DAC-2v2SE?

I replaced my W4S with a Holo Spring Level 3.
