HiRez Concrete Blonde Bloodletting available on HDTracks?

Curious if any brave soul has downloaded this one yet? If so, what are your impressions?

 

I've got the original RB copy which sounds stellar. RB copy has an overall DR value of 13.

 

My prediction is that HiRez version has been crushed to half the RB DR value but I hope I'm wrong by some strange miracle. This is a favorite of mine.

Not the HDtracks download, Qobuz instead, in 24/192 because of the much cheaper price. 

 

Your suggestion was correct, significant worse DR than the original CD, 7 against 13/14 of the CD, but better sounding however. Better soundstage, separation, brilliance and crispier bass.

Yeah looks like it's the 2010 mastering.

 

Different strokes for different folks but I'll take the less than perfect and crankable original mastering which sounds pretty sweet on my setup. The remaster is just too flat & fatiguing and bit rates aren't going to change that.
