Popular Post esimms86
No, this is not a review of her new double album. I do love it but that's not the point of this post. Dreams and Daggers is available for sale at her website as a double CD release for $19.98 plus shipping(an additional $3.07 to my home in Massachusetts). Of course, you can also buy it from Amazon for $13.99 plus shipping(assuming you don't have Amazon Prime). Well, I seriously thought about buying the CD version until I checked out HDTracks. I purchased it from them today as a 24/96 download for $20.98 minus 15% with the code "HD29SEPT"(the code for their storewide 15% off sale). Yes, I picked it up for $17.83 in hi res versus $13.99 for the same music in redbook format. Since it's a double CD with 23 songs I anticipate that HDTracks may soon come to their senses and increase the price. In the meantime... Esau audio.bill and Doak 1 1 Link to comment

firedog
Good album. I'd say all of it is good, a few cuts are truly outstanding. SQ of the HDT is very good. It's a very good value for HDT at the price with the discount code. BTW, you can always find the HDT (and other vendors) discount codes at findhdmusic.com if you don't already know them. audio.bill 1 Main listening (small home office): Main setup: Surge protector +>Isol-8 Mini sub Axis Power Strip/Isolation>QuietPC Low Noise Server>Roon (Audiolense DRC)>Stack Audio Link II>Kii Control>Kii Three (on their own electric circuit) >GIK Room Treatments. Popular Post Musicophile
I just love the album. Bought it at Qobuz, with the Sublime discount the 24/96 was €14.99, and worth every penny. Very good SQ.
