foodfiend Posted September 19, 2017 Share Posted September 19, 2017 The main considerations would be: 1. How many CDs are we talking about? This impacts the volume of storage required. 2. Do you play hi-res music, or only CD-rips? If you play hi-res music, this will add to storage requirements. 3. Do you intend to stream your music? Or is that merely storage? If you are streaming, and want the NAS to serve the music, you might want to look at the requirements for the server software. 4. How many concurrent users are you expecting? This impacts both the load on the NAS, as well as the load on your home network. 5. Are you intending to store other data on the NAS? This impacts your storage requirements. 6.
