flak
miniDSP has just published this application note about implementing a multichannel active system with Dirac Live:https://www.minidsp.com/applications/digital-crossovers/active-speakers-with-ddrc-88bm Flavio Warning: My posts may be biased even if in good faith, I work for Dirac Research :-) Link to comment
etc6849
Nice! I have been looking for a solution I can recommend to friends that hear my 5.1 setup using three Xilica XD4080 processors (each is 4x8, so tri-amping 5 channels (FIR filters) plus time aligning 5 subs). I know most want a car and not an audio system instead. However, are the filters implemented after Dirac? If not, my understanding is they will add phase shift and Dirac won't correct for this. PS: any updates coming for the Windows Dirac Live software? If so, I'm an electrical engineer and could be a great beta tester On 9/3/2017 at 0:45 PM, flak said: miniDSP has just published this application note about implementing a multichannel active system with Dirac Live:https://www.minidsp.com/applications/digital-crossovers/active-speakers-with-ddrc-88bm Flavio Link to comment

You can see the whole structure here: https://www.minidsp.com/products/dirac-series/ddrc-88bm The user manual is a good start too... 85pages of explanations of how Dirac live works and how to control bass management + crossovers. :-) Link to comment
