Stopping iTunes from automatically changing place when new song comes on

When a song ends while playing on iTunes, it automatically continues to the next song in the list. But when you've changed place in the song list, it automatically reverts up (or down) to wherever the next song is located.

 

For example, if you're currently listening to Beethoven but editing an album by Miles Davis, when the song ends, iTunes automatically returns to the Bs. I find this annoying. Is there a way to stop iTunes from automatically changing place when a new song comes on?

 

 

I have the latest version of iTunes running on Windows 10.

This doesn't happen to me in iTunes on Mac.

Unless I'm misreading the OPs post I have seen this on a Mac. In fact, that's where I noticed it. I'm not running Windows 10 on my Mac at the moment.
