Robert Melczarek
After syncing multiple times, at least one of my smart playlists on my iPhone doesn't match the same playlist in iTunes on my MacBook Pro. I'm not about to try and see which of my 100+ playlists have this problem. There are songs missing from the iTunes version. The songs are on the iPhone, just not listed in the playlist. I tried recreating the same smart playlist from scratch and that didn't help. What's really confusing is that when I view the playlist on my iPhone in iTunes, it does match. Why would the contents of the same playlist look different on my iPhone then in iTunes? Link to comment
kirkmc
Unfortunately, this is a pretty common problem. The only potential fix is to turn off music syncing, sync the device, then turn music syncing back on. This resets the sync database on the device. I write about Macs, music, and more at Kirkville.
