Popular Post wgscott
Lots of people dissing digital sound, and computers as playback devices. Some people even speak of obsolete disc-like objects that are silvery-shiny colored, or even large and black. WTF? Shouldn't this be a safe space? Melvin and mansr 2 Link to comment
Popular Post kumakuma
I agree. And while we're on this subject, give USB a fvcking break! The poor interface is doing the best it can. Also household power. We're glad to see it in the middle of the night when it's dark and cold outside but when it comes to powering our precious audio devices.. wgscott and Melvin 2 Sometimes it's like someone took a knife, baby Edgy and dull and cut a six inch valley Through the middle of my skull Link to comment
Popular Post rando
Disc players are computers too nowadays. Check your unprincipled rotationist free propaganda at the door. I don't see any signs saying this is a needle free zone, man. Albrecht and wgscott 2 Link to comment

esldude
Well I worked with some PDP 11s, but never on VAX. And always keep in mind: Cognitive biases, like seeing optical illusions are a sign of a normally functioning brain. NOMBEDES
Home Computers are for email. Not music. We all know that the various streamers, players, music servers etc are computers at heart. They are built for music. But, again, home computers, unless greatly modified, are just not for music. Even Chris has seen the light and changed the name of this site.
