Lots of people dissing digital sound, and computers as playback devices.  Some people even speak of obsolete disc-like objects that are silvery-shiny colored, or even large and black.  WTF?  Shouldn't this be a safe space?

Well I worked with some PDP 11s, but never on VAX.

Home Computers are for email.  Not music.  We all know that the various streamers, players, music servers etc are computers at heart. They are built for music.

 

But, again, home computers, unless greatly modified, are just not for music.
