Popular Post Musicophile
It does sound ok, at least in Redbook streaming from Qobuz. If only the music would be better. Popular Post One and a half
I really like 'girl in the other room ' varied tempo and polished recording and performance. This release is a return to Quiet Nights, but hardly reaches that milestone either. Errrmmm, good for Audiophile shows. elcorso, The Computer Audiophile and Musicophile 3 AS Profile Equipment List Say NO to MQA Link to comment
andyv
It is a very disappointing album imo. Sort of Diana Krall trying to be "Diana Krall" all breathy and dinner party jazz. She is a much better musician than this album lets her be. Eric Auer 1 Link to comment

Some of the album was done with Elvis Costello and it really showed. johndoe21ro and Musicophile 2 Founder of Audiophile Style | My Audio Systems Link to comment

To me another victim of 2017 loudness wars like: Rolling Stones, Sting, Depeche Mode, etc. Musically, listening over the web it fine album, relaxed, but mostly for background listening, not something I care about more. -- Krzysztof Maj http://mkrzych.wordpress.com/ "Music is the highest form of art. LarryMagoo
Well I really like her new album....Her vocals sound so good especially over headphones. I bought the 192KHz version from HD Tracks and it sounds great to me. I have been a Diana Krall fan since way before she was famous and this reminds me of her first couple of albums....I listen to WAV files FWIW. Link to comment
miguelito
Not a great album but I do enjoy it. Sound quality is pretty good but nothing to phone home about IMHO. nick77
At first I found it disappointing but it has grown on me, certainly not up to her potential. It seems to be recorded loud and maybe another victim of the loudness wars. But it does sound good and I agree its a return to Quiet Nights. Really enjoying the double bass on a few numbers. 24/192 Musicophile 1 Holo Spring Kitsume Level 3, Singxer SU-1 Link to comment
