tmtomh
Way out of my price range, and I'm not someone who wants or needs a giant 65" TV - but I have to say, I still think this is an awesome bit of technical work on Sony's part. Link to comment
Ralf11
It might help hifi planar speakers improve; and the TV's will get cheaper too... Link to comment
mansr
I just wish someone would make a nice, large display with a single HDMI input, nothing else. No speakers, no "smart" crap. Link to comment

No speakers, no "smart" crap. I'm kind of in the same boat - I never use the internal speakers on any of my TVs, and any streaming, etc., comes from another source (e.g., TiVo, Roku, AppleTV, etc.) - keeping all the audio and other irrelevant crap out would allow a very thin, very light display that would be perfect for my needs. That said, this looks pretty cool John Walker - IT Executive Headphone - SonicTransporter i9 running Roon Server > Netgear Orbi > Blue Jeans Cable Ethernet > mRendu Roon endpoint > Topping D90 > Topping A90d > Dan Clark Expanse / HiFiMan H6SE v2 / HiFiman Arya Stealth Home Theater / Music -SonicTransporter i9 running Roon Server > Netgear Orbi > Blue Jeans Cable HDMI > Denon X3700h > Anthem Amp for front channels > Revel F208-based 5.2.4 Atmos speaker system Link to comment
