Can you suggest a good record?

I have their "In The Dark" but always found it too bland and after several attempts throughout the years I gave up trying.

The very best you can find are 24/96 recordings from the soundboard, mastered by Charlie Miller, and delivered in FLAC, for free from http://bt.etree.org/index.php .

bit torrents, legal and encouraged and here is an example: http://bt.etree.org/details.php?id=593328

This is my most convenient source of circulation tapes. However, one who is ready to dive into this spring of a pure joy should consider it's size and depth..))) Just checked, I have more than 800GB of taper materials on a HD.

800GB?    I only have about 400GB and I can't recall all I have on my SSD?   How do you know what you have when you have 800GB??  Sheesh!

I have almost filled a 4Tb external, and like all file systems, you open the directory and look...

4TB????   You got the entire Sony Catalog?  :D   Do you play/use all 4TB???

Not during every listening session :) I just like hi-res computer-based music. No interest at all in vinyl, unless it is 24/192. I have downloaded the entire Grateful Dead tour seasons 1974 and 1977, and yes some of this files are some real stinkers, but even on a 'bad night' there are always a few gems.

Yes, and the whole FLAC thing was for shows being traded during

the early days of the World-Wide-Web...or so the story goes

I'm curious if anyone has used the Teddy Pardo DAC who has also heard the Yddrasil. Prices have fallen out on the TP despite (in my mind at least) being a very natural and transparent DAC. I'm trying to decide if spending $2K is going to net me much improvement. System details below-
