Yes, finally the ignored users have vanished totally from the activity list, well done. Now just have to remember to add in a new ignored member from the link in the account settings, by entering the name, which also preselect, another good idea. PeterSt
I was just trying to quote a text from someone in topic A and paste that in a post in topic B. After 10 minutes I gave up and used normal copy-paste, now thus without reference to the original post. Isn't this possible ? I failed for a sentence from the post, but also for the complete post. You guessed right I tried to quote from you, Ricardo. Haha. But no, it does not work. So when this is performed, in the bottom right corner this popup appears, but it only appears within the topic (or browser instance / tab) you just quoted from. Click the popup and the text appears in the topic you quoted from. Or I just don't understand ... BTW, this is Opera, might it matter. PeterSt
The stupid thing is, if we could copy-paste the quoted text, all would be solved. But at attempting such a thing, all runs stuck. One would even want to clear the editor's contents (you really can't remove such a copied quote) but the link for that is nowhere at such a time. PeterSt
Chrome the same thing. This (above) is what comes from the Plus. And this shows when I go to the other tab - nothing. And obviously clicking the popup will put the quote in the first screen only. So Ricardo, what to you use for browser then ? So I land on a page which sure is about crazy talk, but this particular one is not there. I assume this is about a different time zone, and the 4:29 pm it says there, could be 8 hours earlier over here. Guys, never mind. We'll all survive without the feature. Thanks. rickca
Chris, I'm noticing a considerable degradation in performance this morning on CA. fas42 1 Pareto Audio AMD 7700 Server --> Berkeley Alpha USB --> Jeff Rowland Aeris --> Jeff Rowland 625 S2 --> Focal Utopia 3 Diablos with 2 x Focal Electra SW 1000 BE subs i7-6700K/Windows 10 --> EVGA Nu Audio Card --> Focal CMS50's Link to comment
rickca
Now the nice compression of the Activity Stream from displaying posts from ignored users differently has disappeared and we're back to the way it used to be. Chris, did you back this out because of my input about a performance degredation, or for some other reason?
