I'm listening to this right now, for about the fifth time since the day

Politician by Cream

"Hey now baby, get into my big black car

Hey now baby, get into my big black car

I wanna just show you what my politics are.

I'm a political man and I practice what I preach

I'm a political man and I practice what I preach

So don't deny me baby, not while you're in my reach.

I support the left, tho' I'm leanin', leanin' to the right

I support the left, tho' I'm leanin' to the right

But I'm just not there when it's coming to a fight.

Hey now baby, get into my big black car

Hey now baby, get into my big black car

I wanna just show you what my politics are."

Two new tracks from Hamilton Mixtape (off Tidal)

I'm still quite ambivalent about this Mixtape project. It doesn't seem to be as good as the musical. With four tracks total released, I sort of get what direction the album is going. But perhaps the non-sequiteur teaser releases of the album means I'm not getting the cohesion of the final album. I guess I'll have to wait for the whole album to be released to judge.

A friend wrote this song post-Nov 8... post-fact world...

Surprisingly, it made me want to dance ... Bowie fans might dig it.

TF cards - USB  -> GentooPlayer in RAM on Rpi4b, Ian’s PurePi II, FIFO Q7, HDMI-pro  -> Audio GD R-27 -> S.A.T. Infinity monoblocks -> Gallo Stradas + TR-3 sub / Erzetich Phobos

Only those who sorely lost on Nov 8th would consider the idea of listening to something different then they normally do since that wonderful day.

With that said I'm listening to the same stuff I usually do, no change here :)

In an effort to contribute to the thread topic I offer this song for those still pissing and moaning about it:

You have to have a party

When you're in a state like this

You can really move it all

You have to vote and change

You have to get right out of it

Like out of all this mess

You'll say yeah to anything

If you believe all this [...]

It's sick the price of medicine

Stand up, we'll put you on your feet again

Open up your eyes

Just to check that your asleep again

President gas is president gas again

He comes in from the left sometimes

He comes in from the right

It's so heavily advertised that he wants you and I

I dug this out today, as it is becoming increasingly apropos:

...so how about the Byrd's "Turn, Turn, Turn".

A season of reason will return. Thanks for taking the high ground and preserving the original idea of your thread...

The only thing that would have matched my mood on 11/9 was "Metal Machine Music."

Eleven days later, "I Will Not Go Quietly" is in heavy rotation. The Verdi Requiem would also be a fine choice.

Office: MacBook Pro - Audirvana Plus - Resonessence Concero - Cavailli Liquid Carbon - Sennheiser HD 800.

Travel/Portable: iPhone 7 or iPad Pro - AudioQuest Dragonfly Red - Audeze SINE or Noble Savant
