HedgeHog
Interesting...it did the complete opposite for me; fixed my ASIO drivers and allowed the iPhone to import again. . :-\ -H Link to comment
audio.bill
The problem is with the new Windows 10 Anniversary Update default USB drivers, so if you use another driver you should be fine. Link to comment

audio.bill
What I read on another post (maybe on a different forum) was that the OP has designed some digital products which use the standard Windows USB driver and those are the ones having issues. Many USB DACs require the use of a different USB driver which will likely not exhibit the problem. Of course YMMV applies since there's no way to be sure any specific setup will work without trying it. Link to comment

lucretius
All, Warning Microsoft damaged the USB drivers in Windows 10 Anniversary edition and everyone is complaining about BAD SOUND. We have contacted the Windows Sound group and they are aware of the problem. Thanks and you can go back to your regularly scheduled programming! Gordon It works for me. But I do not use the standard/supplied drivers. The software that usually gives me the most problem is flash -- it seems that every other flash update destroys the timing (after its run). mQa is dead! Link to comment
