Who are You Going to See?

Recommended Posts

We have an album of the evening thread and now a song of the day thread, but what about live music? Who are you going to see?

I just bought my wife and I tickets to Karrin Allyson at the Side Door Jazz Club in Old Lyme, CT on April 23rd.

The Houston Press — “If there’s a choir in heaven, someday the exquisite vocalist Karrin Allyson will lead it. She’s such an otherworldly talent that the creator probably already has her on heavy rotation.”

Sarah Jarosz in April, can't wait!!! Small intimate room.

Sounds great!

I've only recently started to listen to Ms. Jarosz, and I can believe she'll be wonderful in a small room setting.

Got to check her performance schedule and see if she's coming to the Northeast.

Music is love, made audible.

Clarence played to the sold-out, enthusiastic crowd of 1000 in his typical, shy & humble manner.

at the end of his second set, the crowd was steadfast, clapping, stomping, jeering & chanting for over six minutes until he reappeared for an encore.

over the next 45 minutes, he opened up, interfacing with the crowd almost as if we were in his living room.

a wonderful evening in all respects.
